• Dogs are required to wear a collar that fits, they must not be able to slip out of the collar. This is for your dogs safety.
  
• Dogs who need to wear a harness for medical or size (miniture breeds who are under 8 lbs should not wear a collar, it can damage their neck) reasons need to have a harness that is the correct size and they can not slip out of. Please have your dog in the harness when we arrive.
  
• Dogs who need to where a harness can not go on social walks as a harness encourages pulling and will make controlling the rest of the group difficult.
  
• Dogs must be up to date on all vet recommended vacines or have had a titer test.

• If your dog does not need regular scheduled walks, feel free to sign up for on call or as needed dog walks.  There is no weekly commitment needed, you can contact me whenever your dog needs a walk and see if I have availability in my schedule. Please give as much notice as possible for this option because some times the schedule is full.
• Dogs are required to be spayed or neutered to go on social walks to prevent fighting.
• On call or as needed dog walks are paid for in advance at the beginning of each assignment or the first dog walk of each week.                         
• Once an on call dog walk has been scheduled, please give at least 24 hour notice if you need to cancel the dog walk.

 

•  Daily scheduled dog walks are paid for in advance of service monthly at the first dog walk of each month or on the first and 15th of each month. An invoice will be emailed for the total number of dog walks each month, invoices will vary as each month has a different number of days and some months have holidays.
  
  • Daily scheduled dog walks will automatically not be provided (unless you make a special request, holiday fee applies) on all federal holidays  click here for a list of  federal holidays.
    

   

  
• If you need to skip a weekly scheduled dog walk every once in a while it may be credited toward the following invoice if 24 hour notice prior to missing a dog walk is given.
  
• Discounted dog walks - If dog walks that are discounted for 3 or 5 days a week are missed, discount does not apply for that week, if an entire week is missed discount does not apply for the month. Scheduled vacations if prior notice of at least one week is given are excluded.
  

• Payment - dog sitting is paid for in advance,  new clients provide payment at the time of our meeting, regular clients leave a check to be picked up on the first day of the dog sitting assignment.
• Key pick up or return service $15.00
•  Most dog sitting clients provide me with a key at the time of our first meeting when they fill out the paper work and I keep the key on file for future visits. If you do not have a key at that time and if you would like me to make a separate trip or set aside time in my schedule to meet you to pick up the key before the dog sitting assignment or If you prefer that I leave the key at the end of each dog sitting assignment then pick up the key before the next dog sitting assignment, this service is 15.00 for each key pick up or return.
• Please note that if you drop the key off at my home the service charge still applies as I have to set aside time in my schedule to be there, for insurance purposes clients may not drop off a key if I am not home.
  

• There is a $15.00 holiday service charge per day for dog sitting / dog walking or puppy care visits on all major holidays.
